I recently had the pleasure of introducing my six-year-old to the world of LEGO Jurassic Park with the Velociraptor Escape (76957) set. This starter kit serves as an excellent entry point for kids aged 4 and up, offering a taste of the excitement that comes with building and playing within this dinosaur-filled universe.

The set comes equipped with two minifigures Dr. Ellie Sattler and Robert Muldoon, along with an adorable frog figure. Accessory elements like a toy walkie-talkie, tranquilizer, hot dog, dinosaur poop, and a buildable dinosaur egg nest add to the authenticity of the experience.

One aspect I appreciated was the playful features integrated into the design. The dinosaur pen, for instance, boasts a tower with a Starter Brick base that simplifies the construction process, making it more manageable for young builders. A winch with a feeding basket, a gate for the off-roader, and a fence with a breakout function further enhance the interactive nature of this set.

Measuring over 6.5 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 4 inches deep, the tower and dinosaur pen, inspired by the Jurassic Park movie, provides an ideal play area for young children who are just beginning to explore the wonders of LEGO building.
