I’ve recently had the pleasure of installing and using the All-new Ring Battery Doorbell, and I must say it has been an impressive addition to my home security setup.

One of the standout features for me is the built-in battery. The convenience of charging it with a USB-C cable and being able to detach it from the wall for recharging is a game-changer. This flexibility makes maintenance and upkeep incredibly easy.

The vertical coverage has also been significantly improved in this version, providing me with a ‘Head-to-Toe’ view of my visitors. I find myself able to see more details than ever before, which adds an extra layer of reassurance.

Connecting to who’s there is now easier than ever with the Live View & Two-Way Talk feature. It allows me to respond quickly and effectively to any activity at my doorstep, giving me peace of mind even when I’m not home.

The motion detection and alerts are another highlight. Real-time alerts on my phone ensure that I am always in the know about what’s happening outside my door. This feature has proven particularly useful for those unexpected visitors or deliveries.

I appreciate the Smart Alerts, which help me to distinguish between people and packages. This feature requires a subscription, but I find it well worth the investment. The ability to scroll back in time and rewatch what I missed is also a handy tool.

Lastly, the compatibility with Alexa devices is a nice touch. Custom notifications from Echo Dot, launching video with Echo Show, and hands-free home monitoring are just a few of the benefits I’ve enjoyed so far.
